1. Announcement Summary
Riverbed Technology hereby announces the end-of-availability of AppResponse Xpert models 3200, 3700, 4200, 5000 and Director 200. These systems will no longer be available for sale effective January 1, 2014. Customers and partners may continue to order these systems from Riverbed through December 31, 2013, subject to availability. Customers may continue to order Riverbed support services on these systems subject to Riverbed's end-of-availability and end-of-support policy located at: www.riverbed.com/supportpolicy

2. Migration Plan
Recommended alternatives for above platforms are the currently shipping AppResponse 3300, 3800, 4300, 5100 and Director 300 systems which are supported on ARX software release 8.6.8 onwards.
3. Refurbished Units
Riverbed may have refurbished systems available for sale after the above end of sale dates, supply permitting, provided that the above end of support dates shall apply to those refurbished units. Please contact your local sales representative for availability and details.
