• RiOS 9.15.0 has deprecated several features from User Interface (UI). For more information, please refer to KB article S38193

• Due to a software defect in the Secure Remote Logging feature, any SteelHead or Interceptor appliances may become unreachable until a “unit reboot.” Refer to KB Article S37868 for further details.

⚠️!! Important Alert !!

1. 10.3 is supported only on SteelHead Appliances: XX80(580, 780, 3080, 5080, 7080),  XX90(2090, 4090, 6090, 8090), SteelHead Virtual and SteelHead Cloud. 
2. Starting from 10.3, the Flex subscription licenses are the only supported licensing model for XX80 series (580, 780, 3080, 5080 and 7080), Virtual and Cloud SteelHeads. However, both the Flex subscription and Perpetual licenses are supported for XX90 series (2090, 4090, 6090 and 8090) SteelHeads.
3. The recommended base builds and upgrade workflow is as follows:
   1. XX80 upgrade to 10.3 is supported from 9.16.0b base build.
   2. XX90 upgrade to 10.3 is supported from 10.2.0a base build.
   3. SH-C can be upgraded to 10.3 from 10.2.0a but for any other base build please fresh deploy.
   4. SH-V can be upgraded to 10.3 from 10.2.0a but for any other base build please fresh deploy.
      1. Please note: For SH-V, an upgrade is supported from 10.2.0a, but we still recommend a fresh deployment. Please refer to the KB for more details:S39076
4. XX80 and XX90 customers can use their static flex licenses when upgrading to 10.3. and replace them with the dynamic Flex licenses at their own pace. These dynamic flex licenses would be needed for self-management of license migration across SH deployments. CLM feature compatibility with SCC is possible only if the SteelHeads have dynamic flex licenses.
