End-of-Availability (EOA) Notice

1. Announcement Summary

Riverbed Technology hereby announces the end of availability of the SteelHead CXA-770 model. These platforms will no longer be available for sale effective January 16, 2021. Customers and partners may continue to order this model from Riverbed through January 15, 2021. 

Customers may continue to order Riverbed support services on this model subject to Riverbed's end-of-availability and end-of-support policy located at: www.riverbed.com/supportpolicy.

For subscription-based models (e.g. all part numbers designated with a “-SUB” in Table 1 below), new subscription licenses for the below models will no longer be available for sale effective January 16, 2021. Existing customers and partners that have an active paid subscription license may (i) continue to use their platforms from Riverbed until the end of their current subscription period and (ii) renew subscription licenses and any such renewal subscriptions will be prorated and automatically end on the applicable end-of-support date. The sale of any renewal subscriptions after the announced end-of-availability date will not change the previously announced end-of-availability date or end-of-support dates for such product.

Table 1 identifies the relevant dates for end-of-availability, end of feature support, and end-of-support.

_{At Riverbed’s discretion, it may continue to make available the upgrade options set forth in this Table 1. If Riverbed sells such an upgrade after its announced end-of-availability date, that sale will not change the previously announced end-of-availability date or end-of-support dates for that upgrade.}

2. Migration Plan

Riverbed has released an updated set of appliances that spans the performance specifications of the platforms subject to this end-of-availability announcement. Please consult the product specifications to determine your current and future requirements to assess which appliance may be most appropriate for your intended use.
