1. Announcement Summary
Riverbed Technology previously announced the end of availability of all SteelCentral xx70 appliances and licenses and associated subscription options on February 14, 2020. These components and features are no longer available for sale as of April 16, 2020.
This EOA Notice has been updated to add additional SteelCentral xx70 Product SKUs that have already reached end of availability and are now added to this EOA notice for clarification purposes. This EOA notice has also been updated to include the appropriate MNT SKUs (Maintenance SKUs) for the updated EOA Product SKUs and identifies their EOS date.
For clarity, these added/updated SKUs have been added to the top of Table 1.
Customers may continue to order Riverbed support services on these modules subject to Riverbed's end of availability and end of support policy located at: www.riverbed.com/supportpolicy
In addition, subscription versions of the below modules are no longer available for sale as of April 16, 2020. Customers and partners that have an active paid subscription period may continue to use their systems from Riverbed until the end of their current subscription period and may renew their subscriptions through to the corresponding appliance End of Support Date.

Note 1: For subscription-based models (e.g. all product SKUs designated with a “-SUB” in Table 1A and 1B above), Riverbed in its sole discretion may continue to make available subscriptions after the announced end-of-availability date. If Riverbed sells such a renewal subscription after the announced end-of-availability date, that sale will not change the previously announced end-of-availability date or end-of-support dates for such product.
Note 2: Applicable NetShark SKUs above (those beginning with ‘LIC-SCAN-’ and not listed as evals) require upgrade to AppResponse 11 or later version of software (1) to obtain bug fixes after 4/15/2021 and (2) to obtain new features. Upgrade available for no additional fee as part of a paid maintenance and support plan. See Support site for details
2. Migration Plan
Riverbed is offering an updated set of appliances that spans the performance specifications of the appliances. Please consult the specifications to determine your current and future requirements to determine which platform may be most appropriate for your intended use.
