1. Announcement Summary

Riverbed Technology hereby announces the end-of-availability of the CMC- 8150. These systems will no longer be available for sale as of May 5, 2015. Customers and partners may continue to order these systems from Riverbed through May 4, 2015, subject to availability. Customers may continue to order Riverbed support services, on these systems, subject to Riverbed’s end-ofsupport policy located at: www.riverbed.com/supportpolicy

2. Migration Plan

STM-B-100: The “100” SKUs are being discontinued for sale to align with our business priorities. All customers have already been migrated off these products.

STM-SAF-B-300, STM-SAF-B-400: The SAF base bandwidth pack SKUs are being replaced with the WAF add-on, STM-B-ADD-WAF. Customers with a SAF base bandwidth pack may replace it (at no charge) with the equivalent base bandwidth pack and add-on pack (achieving the same functionality). SAF base bandwidth packs will continue to function until replacement. Note, that SteelCentral Services Controller for SteelApp v1.3 or above is required to use add-on SKUs. For details of this program, please contact your account manager.

UPG SKUs: A number of UPG SKUs are being discontinued for sale due to becoming redundant in light of the other SKU changes here—either from or to discontinued SKUs. All customers have already been migrated to 200, 300 and 400 series SKUs, so this will affect no further customers.
