Getting started with notifications
To enable the NetProfiler to send notifications of alert conditions, you must complete the applicable fields on the Definitions > Notifications page Recipients tab for the Default recipient. This enables the NetProfiler to send all notifications to the Default recipient. You can rename "Default" to a recipient label of your choosing.
Beyond this minimum requirement, you can:

Specify additional recipients for notifications.

Specify that notifications resulting from particular alert levels for particular types of events are to be sent to specific recipients or else merely logged.
NetProfiler can also send a notification after an alert condition ends. To enable clear alerts, select the checkbox to Send clear alert notifications when events end on the Definitions > Notification page, Policies tab. Note that a system restart automatically clears all alerts and sends a corresponding notification.
Configuring the default recipient
Specifying additional recipients
