Specifying additional recipients
To specify recipients:

Go to the Definitions > Notifications page Recipients tab.

On the Recipients tab, click New. This displays the New Recipient page.

Specify the recipient name in the Recipient Label box. (This will appear in the drop-down menu when you assign notifications to recipients.)

If you anticipate wanting to send notifications to this recipient on the basis of which groups it owns, click Assign Group Ownership and fill in the page by selecting a group type and moving members of the group into the Groups Owned by panel. You can select individual groups from multiple group types. Close this page to return to the New Recipient page. Note that owner-based notification is not available for service policies or performance and availability policies.

On the New Recipient page, enter email addresses, if applicable, as a list delimited by commas, spaces, colons, semicolons, or new lines. The subject line of the email is automatically set to the event type and event severity of the event that the email is reporting.

Select HTML or PDF as the format for notifications sent via email.

Fill in the SNMP information for Version 1 or Version 3, as applicable.

Click Test now, if desired, to send test notifications to the recipient.

Click OK.
