About Host, Interface, and General Service Settings
Host and interface settings are typically configured through the initial setup wizard when the appliance is deployed, and they usually don’t need any further configuration. Host settings include hostname, DNS, and proxy settings.
General service settings enable you to configure some aspects of how the appliance’s acceleration service interacts with the network. Some settings are deployment specific. General service settings include:
• in-path support, includes options for global kickoff, L4/PBR/WCCP/Interceptor, and per-interface global acceleration.
• out-of-path support (server-side only)
• half-open connection limits and maximum connection pool size
• failover support
• packet mode optimization (requires in-path rules)
