About Host, Interface, and General Service Settings
Host and interface settings are usually set during the initial setup and don’t often need changes. They include settings like the hostname, DNS, and proxy.
General service settings control how the appliance’s optimization service interacts with the network. Some settings depend on your deployment type. They include:
• In-path support with options for global kickoff, Layer 4/PBR/WCCP/Interceptor support, and per-interface acceleration.
• Out-of-path support for server-side deployments only.
• Connection limits to set limits for half-open connections and max connection pool size,
• Failover settings to configure behavior in case of failure.
