1. Announcement Summary
Riverbed Technology hereby announces the end of sale of Steelhead ® models 3020, 3520, 5520, 6020 and 6120. These systems will no longer be available for sale effective April 6, 2009. Customers and partners may continue to order these systems from Riverbed through April 5, 2009, subject to availability. Customers may continue to order Riverbed support services on these systems subject to Riverbed's end of sale and end of support policy located at: www.riverbed.com/supportpolicy

2. Migration Plan
Recommended alternatives for above platforms are the currently shipping Steelhead ® models 2050, 5050 and 6050 systems which are supported on RiOS 4.1.6, 5.0.3 & 5.5.0 onwards.
3. Refurbished Units
Riverbed may have refurbished systems available for sale after the above end of sale dates, supply permitting, provided that the above end of support dates shall apply to those refurbished units. Please contact your local sales representative for availability and details.
