End-of-Availability (EOA) Notice

SteelHead EX / SteelFusion Edge 560, 760, 1160, 1260 and 1360 Models

1. Announcement Summary

Riverbed Technology hereby announces the end-of-availability of SteelHead EX and SteelFusion Edge branded products EXA 560, 760, 1160, 1260 and 1360 models. These systems will no longer be available for sale as of January 1, 2016. Customers and partners may continue to order these systems from Riverbed through December 31, 2015, subject to availability

Customers may continue to order Riverbed support services, on these systems, subject to Riverbed’s end-of-support policy located at: www.riverbed.com/supportpolicy

Table 1 identifies the relevant dates for end-of-availability and end-of-support:

1. Migration Plan

Recommended alternatives for the above SteelHead EX models are the currently shipping SteelFusion Edge, SFED models. In some cases Steelhead CX models may be applicable as well.

3. Refurbished Units (-E Systems)

Riverbed may have refurbished (-E) systems available for sale after the above end of sale dates, supply permitting, provided that the above end of support dates shall apply to those refurbished units. Please contact your local sales representative for availability and details.
