End-of-Sale (EOS) Notice
Steelhead® Models EMC Steelhead 501, 601 and 701

1. Announcement Summary
Riverbed Technology hereby announces the end-of-availability of the Steelhead 501/601/701 models. These systems will no longer be available for sale as of July 1, 2013. EMC may continue to order these systems from Riverbed through June 30, 2013, subject to availability. EMC and its customers may continue to order Riverbed support services, on these systems, subject to Riverbed's end-of-support policy located at: www.riverbed.com/supportpolicy

2. Migration Plan
Recommended alternatives for above platforms are the currently shipping Steelhead® models CX1555/5055/7055 models which are supported on RiOS 7.0.5 and 8.0 onwards.
3. Refurbished Units
Riverbed may have refurbished systems available for sale after the above end of sale dates, supply permitting, provided that the above end of support dates shall apply to those refurbished units. Please contact your local sales representative for availability and details.
