Installing Portal in AWS : Configuring the AMI for deployment

Configuring the AMI for deployment
Type c5.xlarge is the only supported instance type. Make certain to verify that type c5.xlarge is available in the region in which you intend to deploy.
1. From the AWS console, select the EC2 service.
2. Under Images on the left panel, select AMIs. The AMI that Riverbed made available for you should appear in the list.
3. Select the AMI.
4. Select Launch to deploy.
5. Enter a descriptive name for the instance.
6. Select the instance type.
7. Configure the settings according to your infrastructure setup. For example, the subnet that you assign should be one on which the appliance will be able to communicate with the systems sending traffic.
8. Optionally, add storage.
