Reinstalling Edge appliances
In case of accidental removal, partial deletion or any other major issues that are not recoverable with the Edge VM, the Edge can be reinstalled on the same target server and this requires complete clean up of existing Edge VM and formatting the datastore associated with the Edge VM. Then the edge VM can be reinstalled.
