Editing host groups
To manually add, modify, or delete a host group or to import a host group definition:

Go to the Definitions > Host Groups submenu and choose the view of the network (e.g., ByFunction, ByLocation) that applies to the group you want to add, modify or delete.

In the Groups section of the page, click Edit Groups. This opens a page on which there is a section titled Identify Groups in this Group Type.

Edit the entries in the text box to add, modify or delete members in the definition of the group. Alternatively, click Import to import group definitions from a text file. If you add a group, ensure that the definition includes an address range and a group name, separated by a space. The group name must not contain spaces or special characters. The text box and any group definition text file you import use the same syntax. more

Click OK.

When the popup page closes and you return to the Groups section of the Manage Host Group Types page, you can click View in the entry for the new or modified group to verify that the results are as you intended.
If you have a large network, it may take several minutes for the traffic data to be sorted in terms of the new group definitions. In this case, Status: Grouping is displayed in the title bar of the page. When the new host group assignments have been completed and taken effect, Status: Committed is displayed in the title bar.
