Welcome
Welcome to the SteelHead User Guide. This guide describes how to configure and monitor the SteelHead using the Management Console.
This guide is written for storage and network administrators who are familiar with administering and managing WANs using common network protocols such as TCP, CIFS, HTTP, FTP, and NFS.
This guide assumes you’re familiar with configuring Riverbed acceleration products.
This guide is also for users who are using the command-line interface as described in the Riverbed Command-Line Interface Reference Manual.
