About advanced settings
You configure the Client Accelerator service port and Endpoint Report settings in the Administration > System Settings: Advanced Settings page. You can also view and manage network adapters on this page.
Don’t modify the service port setting until after you deploy the Client Accelerator endpoint that connects to this controller. This modification changes the port on which the controller listens for incoming Client Accelerator connections. If you change this setting, Client Accelerator endpoints trying to connect to the controller on the old port are disconnected.
These settings are available:
• Client Accelerator Service Port is the port number for the Client Accelerator service port. The default is 7870.
• Remove Inactive Endpoints After is the duration after which the Client Accelerator information for the Endpoint report is removed from the Management Console: 1 Day, 1 Week, 1 Month, 3 Months.
• Adapters are the network adapters on managed endpoints. You can add, remove, enable, and disable adapters. By default, all adapter traffic is optimized.
