Rebooting and shutting down the SteelHead
Settings to reboot or shut down the system are under Administration > Maintenance: Reboot/Shutdown.
Rebooting the system will interrupt all active network connections currently being optimized. The reboot process takes a few minutes, and once complete, you’ll need to log back in. If you selected Clear Data Store before rebooting, the system will erase cached data, which can temporarily reduce performance until it rebuilds.
Shutting down the system also breaks all connections and stops optimization. This process also takes a few minutes. After shutdown, you must manually power the SteelHead back on to restart it.
To schedule a reboot, select Schedule for Later, then enter the desired date and time. The system will automatically reboot at the scheduled time.
