Deleting an ESXi image
You can use the delete_esxi_image command to delete ESXi images, including the installed Default and custom images. You cannot delete the current active image.
1. Enter the $ delete_esxi_image command. Currently installed ESXi images and the currently active image are displayed.
2. Type the index number corresponding to the ESXi image to be deleted and press Enter. The extracted folder of ESXi image (from the TFTPD directory) and the ISO file (from the ESXi image upload directory) will also be deleted. If you delete the “Default” ESXi image, the default ISO shipped with the installer will be preserved.
