SteelCentral collects packets using one of the following devices:

All the above devices capture packets at up to line rate, write those packets to disk, perform analysis on those packets, allow easy retrieval of stored packets, and forward packets to capture devices.

You can forward flows from these devices to the NetProfiler based upon the packets that the appliance collects. In addition to standard NetFlow-type fields, these components send TCP health, performance, and end-user experience information.
