Syslog
The syslog section of the General Settings page is where you can set up notification forwarding to one or two syslog servers. NetProfiler supports notification forwarding for system audit trail and events.
To configure syslog notification forwarding:
- Specify the syslog server and port
- Use the Audit Trail and Events checkboxes to configure the notification forwarding.
This syslog configuration uses the UDP protocol without encryption. As there are many possible rsyslog configurations, NetProfiler also supports custom syslog style configuration files. more
