Reallocating flow log storage space
Increasing the disk space allocation for a flow log increases the length of time the flow log can retain data before it is overwritten with new data. Reducing the disk space allocation for a flow log may result in older data being lost from that flow log.
To reallocate disk space among flow logs:
-
Go to the Administration > Flow Log page Disk Allocation tab.
-
Click Reallocate.... This displays a section showing the current disk allocation for the flow logs of each data resolution.
-
Edit the Allocation fields for your new values. For best results, your new values should total an even 100%. To see the impact any individual change on its corresponding retention time, click outside the edit field after entering the new value.
-
When you are finished specifying the new allocations, click Apply.
