Security Integrations

Security integrations configure actions that can be executed when an advanced security policyis triggered. Currently, these comprise the sending of Email messages, the sending of Syslog messages, and the sending of data to certain A10 and Verisign products. Click Administration > Integration > Security Integration to display the Security Integration page.

Security integrations are supported for:

  • Cloudsign: Configure interaction with Verisign.
  • Send Email: Configure the sending of an Email message.
  • A10 TPS: Configure interaction with A10 Threat Protection System.
  • Syslog: Configure the sending of a syslog message. This is useful for sending alerts and data to other applications.

Note: When configuring Verisign or A10 integrations, consult your Verisign or A10 account representative for guidance on how to configure the integration optimally for your installation.

A security integration must be enabled for an advanced security policy to provide mitigation or external notification.

To configure a security integration:

  1. Click Administration > Integration > Security Integration to display the Security Integration page.
  2. Locate the type of security integration you want to configure: Cloudsign, Send Email, A10 TPS, or Syslog.
  3. Click the Actions pulldown and choose Add Instance. A dialog box appears, providing fields that are relevant for configuring that integration type. Type the appropriate values, and click Validate Values and Save to finish the configuration.
  4. Click Definitions > Advanced Security > Advanced Security Policy to edit the advanced security policy definition that will use the integration, and enable the integration there.
