Viewing virtualization datastore reports
The VMFS datastores primarily serve as repositories for virtual machines.
The Datastores report displays a summary of the datastore usage, including a summation of the storage used and the total storage for all of the datastores, along with a ring graph. The report also shows whether the appliance is connected to Core. It also has a table with the datastores, the amount of storage currently in use for each datastore, and their capacities.
What this report tells you
The virtualization Datastores report answers the following questions:
• What percent of the local storage is in use and how much storage is available?
• How many datastores are in use?
To view the Datastores report
• Choose Virtualization > Reports: Datastores to display the Datastores page.
