This section describes HA features, design, and deployment of Edge. You can assign the exports provided by Edge (which are projected from the Core in the data center) in a variety of ways. Because of the way the exports are served, you can achieve HA with Edge by using Edge HA with blockstore synchronization.

This option is independent of any HA Core configuration in the data center that is projecting one or more exports to the Edge. However, because of different Edge deployment options and configurations, there are several scenarios for HA. For example, you can consider hardware redundancy consisting of multiple power supplies or RAID inside the Edge appliance as a form of HA.
