When you make changes on a page and click Apply, the SCC updates the running configuration — but these changes are not yet saved to disk. You must apply updates the running configuration. If any required fields are missing or incorrect, the Apply button will be grayed out. Changes are only permanently saved when you click the Save icon in the menu bar.

The Save icon alerts you when there are unsaved changes.

A red dot next to a field means it’s required. You must complete all required fields before you can apply your changes.
