If you use HTTPS to connect, you might be prompted to inspect and verify the SSL certificate. By default, the controller uses a self-signed certificate, which provides encrypted web connections to the Management Console. The certificate is re-created when the appliance hostname changes and when the certificate has expired.

The default login is admin, and the default password is password. Users with administrator privileges can configure and administer the controller. Users with monitor privileges can view reports and user logs, and change their own password. A monitor user can’t make configuration changes.
