About data interfaces
You view and modify settings for data interfaces under Networking > Networking: Data Interfaces.
Edge appliances support these cards:
Two-port TX copper 10-Gigabit Ethernet card (410-00094-01/NIC-1-010G-2TX)
Four-port TX copper 10-Gigabit Ethernet Base-T card (410-00096-01/NIC-1-010G-4TX)
Four-port TX copper Gigabit Ethernet card (410-00116-01/NIC-1-001G-4TX)
Data interfaces can be used to connect the Edge to a Core or to connect the Edge to another Edge in a high availability configuration.
To use data interfaces, you must insert the network card in slot 2 or 4.
Data interfaces are identified by gbeX_Y notation, where gbe denotes a Gigabit Ethernet data NIC, X denotes the slot, and Y denotes the interface/port on the slot (such as gbe2_0, gbe2_1, gbe4_2 and gbe4_3).
