About jumbo frames
If your network infrastructure supports jumbo frames, we recommend configuring the connection between the Core and the storage system as described here. In addition, you must also configure storage, switches, routers, and other network devices between the Core and the storage system.
1. Log in to the Management Console.
2. Choose Configure > Networking: Management Interfaces.
3. Under Primary Interface, set the configuration as follows:
– Select the Enable Primary Interface check box.
– Select the Specify IPv4 Address Manually option and configure appropriately.
– For the MTU setting, specify 9000 bytes.
