Importing and exporting configurations
The Import Configuration Wizard enables you to quickly import a previously saved Core configuration from either a local file or URL.
1. Stop the service.
2. Open the Import Configuration Wizard. These configuration options are available:
Local File
Imports the configuration file from a local source.
URL
Imports the configuration file from a URL.
Import Shared Data Only
Imports only these common settings: interface, protocols, CLI, web, statistics, NTP, SNMP, cloud settings, and alarm settings. The system does not automatically copy the other settings.
Import Configuration
Imports the configuration from the specified source.
3. Restart the service using the imported configuration.
The Export Configuration Wizard enables you to quickly export the current configuration under Configure > Wizards: Export. The export file consists of the self-configuration and encryption key. You can export configurations in a compressed file to your local system.
