You can start, stop, and restart the Core service under Settings > Maintenance: Service. You can also use this page to reset the service alarm after it has been triggered.

The service is a daemon that runs in the background, performing operations when required. Many of the service commands are initiated at startup. It is important to restart the service when you have made changes to your configuration.

To reset the service alarm, under Reset Service Alarm, click Reset Service Alarm. The option to reset the service alarm appears only after the service triggers the Reset Service Alarm.
