Changing the administrative password
You can change the administrative password under Settings > System Settings: My Account.
This page includes a way to clear the preferences for the current user if any user settings result in an unsafe state and the Management Console can’t display the page.
User preferences are set for individual users and don’t affect the appliance configuration.
You must be logged in as the admin user to change the administrative password.
Under Password, these configuration options are available:
Change Password
Changes the password.
New Password
Specifies a new password.
Confirm New Password
Confirms the new password.
To restore the user preferences for the current user, under User Preferences, click Restore Defaults.
