for AWS

This appendix describes how to provision a SteelHead-c in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud without using the Riverbed Cloud Portal. For AWS, EC2, and VPC documentation, go to:

To manually provision a SteelHead-c for AWS, you create two Elastic Block Store (EBS) volumes, use the EC2 Classic Wizard to create the SteelHead-c for AWS virtual appliance, and attach the volumes to the AWS instance.
