Deleting a backup policy

You can delete a backup policy in the Backup Policies pane in the Configure: Data Protection > Backups page.

Note: When you delete a backup policy, all snapshots on the host associated with that policy and all ESXi mounts on the proxy server are deleted.

To delete a backup policy

1. In the Backup Policies pane, click the X icon on the far right of the row where the backup policy is located.

2. Click Delete to delete the backup policy, or click Cancel to exit.
