protocol profiler auto-bypass enable
Enables the profiler to auto-bypass hostnames that are seen to get poor optimization.
Syntax
[no] protocol profiler auto-bypass enable
Parameters
None
Usage
When a hostname connection is performing badly, future connections are bypassed for a period of two minutes. The protocol profiler feature must be enabled for auto-bypass. Auto-bypass is enabled by default if the protocol profiler feature is enabled.
Example
amnesiac (config) # protocol profiler auto-bypass enable
amnesiac (config) # show protocol profiler
Host Profiler status:
Enabled: Yes
Auto-bypass: Yes
IP auto-bypass: Yes
Host limit: 5000
amnesiac (config) # no protocol profiler auto-bypass enable
amnesiac (config) # show protocol profiler
Host Profiler status:
Enabled: Yes
Auto-bypass: No
IP auto-bypass: Yes (but only once auto-bypass is enabled)
Host limit: 5000
