Checking the status of NetProfiler appliances

The Overview page NetProfiler Status section displays the following information about each NetProfiler with which the Flow Gateway is communicating:

• IP address followed in parentheses by the name returned by DNS, if DNS name resolution is enabled. The NetProfiler IP address is specified on the Administration > NetProfiler Export page. more

• NetProfiler name as specified in the Hostname field of the Administration > General Settings page of the NetProfiler.

• NetProfiler status (OK or Offline).

• Number of flows per minute sent to the NetProfiler. This may be less than the number of packets received because the flows are de-duplicated before being sent to the NetProfiler.
