Configuring the Data Interfaces
You can view and configure available data interfaces in the Data Interfaces page.
To view and configure data interfaces
1. Choose Configure > Networking: Data Interfaces to display the Data Interfaces page.
2. To enable, configure, or modify a data interface, click the name in the Data Network Interfaces column to display the following controls.

Description
Enable Data Interface
Enables the current data interface.
Caution: The remaining Primary Interface settings are activated only when this box is selected.
Obtain IPv4 Address Automatically
Specify this option to automatically obtain the IPv4 address from a DHCP server. A DHCP server must be available so that the system can request the IP address from it.
Specify IPv4 Address Manually
Specify this option if you do not use a DHCP server to set the IP address. Specify the following settings:
•  IPv4 Address - Specify an IPv4 address.
•  IPv4 Subnet Mask - Specify a subnet mask.
Speed and Duplex
Speed - Select a speed from the drop-down list. The default value is Auto.
Duplex - Select Auto, Full, or Half from the drop-down list. The default value is Auto.
If your network routers or switches do not automatically negotiate the speed and duplex, be sure to set them manually.
MTU
Specify the MTU value. The MTU is the largest physical packet size, measured in bytes, that a network can send. The default value is 1500.
3. Click Apply to apply the settings to the current configuration.
4. Click Save to save your settings permanently.
