1. Announcement Summary
Riverbed Technology hereby announces the end-of-availability of the Riverbed Services Platform (RSP). The SKUs noted below will no longer be available for sale. Customers and partners may continue to order these products from Riverbed through the Last Order Date. Customers may continue to order Riverbed support services, on these products, subject to Riverbed's end-of-support policy located at: www.riverbed.com/supportpolicy
Table 1 identifies the relevant dates for end-of-availability:

Note: RSP-SCPS products were previously discontinued for sale on March 12, 2012.
2. Migration Plan
The Steelhead EX xx60 platforms - 560/760/1160 and 1260 - provide similar functionality as the RSP (with a feature called Virtual Services Platform (VSP)).
Virtual SMC is available on the EX platform. The SKU is VSMC-VSP
Sensor VE is available on the EX platform. The SKU is VSEN-VSP
There is no plan to migrate the Windows OEM SKUs (RSP-WND-01 and RSPWND-02) to the EX platform.
