End-of-Availability (EOA) Notice

Unified Communications Xpert SKUs

January 8, 2014

1. Announcement Summary

Riverbed Technology hereby announces the end-of-availability of certain Unified Communications Xpert solution SKUs. With the release of new SKUs for Unified Communications Xpert, which include volume based pricing and the server license included in a single fee, the legacy Unified Communications Xpert solution SKUs, will no longer be available for sale.

Customers and partners may continue to order these systems from Riverbed through April 9, 2014, subject to availability. Customers may continue to order Riverbed support services on these systems subject to Riverbed's end-of-availability and end-of-support policy located at: www.riverbed.com/supportpolicy

2. Migration Plan

Users who already have purchased using the component management server and phone units do not need to take any action. You may continue to pay support separately against the existing management server and phone components when your contract is renewed.

Customers who wish to add new phone or Telepresence endpoint licenses to their existing installation may do so, seamlessly, by purchasing the new SKUs. Support fees for the new endpoints will be charged using the new maintenance SKUs. All phones licensed for the server will require current support in order to receive technical and upgrade support for the software.
