Cascade Virtual Profiler and Gateway, 1060 Edition

1. Announcement Summary

Riverbed Technology hereby announces the end-of-availability of the Virtual Cascade Profiler and Virtual Cascade Gateway, 1060 Edition. The SKUs noted below will no longer be available for sale effective February 1, 2014. Customers and partners may continue to order these products from Riverbed through January 31, 2014. Customers may continue to order Riverbed support services, on these products, subject to Riverbed’s end-of-support policy located at www.riverbed.com/supportpolicy.

2. MIGRATION PLAN

In an effort to stream-line the entire Profiler and Gateway VE Edition while also eliminating room for confusion, we have decided to retire the 1060 SKUs and replace with the new 100 Edition SKUs.

Customers who have purchased the 1060 Virtual Profiler and Gateway can continue to use it and maintenance will continue to be available as outlined in the table above. To preserve our customer’s investment; upgrades, feature options and add-ons are not subject to this end-of-availability notice.

Customers looking for a Virtual version of the Profiler and Gateway should consider the Cascade Virtual Profiler and Gateway 100 Edition which provides all of the functionality of the 1060 Edition with the addition of bundled analytics as well as higher flow capacity tiers.
