CMC 8000 Series

1. Announcement Summary
Riverbed Technology hereby announces the end-of-availability of CMC 8000 Series (models 8001, 8002, 8003, 8004, 8005, and 8006). These systems will no longer be available for sale effective April 6th, 2010. Customers and partners may continue to Order these systems from Riverbed through April 5th, 2010, subject to availability. Customers may continue to Order Riverbed support services on these systems subject to Riverbed's end-of-availability and end-of-support policy located at: www.riverbed.com/supportpolicy

2. Migration Plan
Recommended alternatives for above platforms are the CMC 8150 and CMC-VE systems which will be generally available in March 2010 and will be supported on CMC software v5.5.4 and higher.
3. Refurbished Units
Riverbed may have refurbished systems available for sale after the above end of sale dates, supply permitting, provided that the above end of support dates shall apply to those refurbished units. Please contact your local sales representative for availability and details.
